We will discover the panoramas of northern Tuscany between the mountains of the Tuscan-Emilian Apennine National Park and the Regional Park of the Apuan Alps, passing through hilly villages, among olive groves and vineyards to discover a different Tuscany, with an ancient and complex history, rich in suggestions, aromas and flavors
We will visit an ancient church of Romanesque architecture, the Pieve di Codiponte and then go up towards the hills in the rural landscape of the Eastern Lunigiana between the Apuan Alps and the Apennines to reach Equi Terme where we will be able to visit the characteristic caves of the karst complex of the marble mountains .
To know in depth the geology of the marble mountains we can also visit the ApuanGeoLab interesting interactive museum to include the birth of these unique mountains
The lunch break will be at the farmhouse in front of the peaks, a wide-ranging panoramic point where your gaze will meet the flavors and aromas of this land.
The return to Codiponte has recorded us to still savor the quality of a landscape where biodiversity has encountered a complex history and which can give us wonderful sensations between human culture and nature, having fun without effort with the pedal-assisted bicycle.
